We asked her 5 questions to get to know her better.
1. Where do you come from ?
I am from Vanuatu, part SHEFA (Emau Island) and TAFEA ( Tanna Island).
2. Why did you move to Port Vila ?
I was born and raised in Port Vila and I’m staying here for school and work. I’ve never travelled outside of Efate or Vanuatu so a definite item to check off my bucket list is to travel outside of Vanuatu whether for education, business or pleasure.
3. What are your favorite hobbies ?
Reading and listening to music.
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years ?
In 5 to 10 years, I hope to pursue higher education studies (Master and PhD) , have a successful career, support my parents and family, and to travel the world.
Personally: I wish to travel to some places that I have never been before.
5. What do you like the most in Vanuatu ?
I love that Vanuatu people are able to create and maintain lifelong relationships or connections with others even though they may not be related by blood. For anyone who has never been to Vanuatu I’d say that every island of Vanuatu has something unique to offer from the friendly people to the rich cultural diversities, beaches, waterfalls, accessible active volcanoes, traditional cuisines and other hidden gems, you just need to see and experience it to believe it.
