SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY (THE “POWER OF ATTORNEY”) TAX AGENT SERVICES IN VANUATU

  • director of

  • Change only if applicable
  • and with taxpayer identification number

  • (the “Taxpayer”), hereby designate PAUL DE MONTGOLFIER ET ASSOCIÉS LIMITED, whose registered address is located Govant Building, 1276 Kumul Highway, Port-Vila, Republic of Vanuatu (the “Tax Agent”) as special attorney, empowering the nominated employees of the Tax Agent to:

    A. act as tax agent of the Taxpayer, as defined under the Tax Administration Act No 37 of 2018;
    B. sign and file tax returns, notices, applications and any other documents on behalf of the Taxpayer with the Department of Customs and Inland Revenue; and
    C. to do all that is necessary in order to attain the above.

    AND I/we hereby:

    A. confirm that all necessary information and records will be provided to the Tax Agent for the performance of its duties under this Power of Attorney, and that such information and records are true and correct;
    B. undertake to ratify everything that is done by the Tax Agent in accordance with the terms of this Power of Attorney; and
    C. accept that the Tax Agent shall not be in any way personally liable or responsible for any act done in pursuance of this Power of Attorney and that the Tax Agent shall be indemnified for any fine or penalty resulting from any act performed under this Power of Attorney.

    This Power of Attorney must remain in force until it is revoked in writing.
