Selection Criteria
AJC is seeking applications for an Accountant to join our busy team of professionals in Vanuatu.
This role requires –
- A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in accounting or audit
- An accounting or business degree; preference will be given to candidates who are qualified accountants, hold a BTS or university degree in accounting, or have equivalent relevant experience
- A solid working knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency with accounting software (experience with Xero is an advantage)
- Strong digital literacy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, cloud-based business applications, and AI-powered tools
- Strong communication and administrative skills;
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Previous experience with an audit firm will be considered an added advantage
- Excellent English and/or French communication and writing skills.
